Crimestoppers awarded the Houston County Sheriffs Office with the Top Tip Award for 2009. This award is given to the agency that has the most arrest through Crimestoppers tips Houston County had 102 arrest for 2009. The award was given at the Centerville Rotary Clubs monthly meeting. Last year the Centerville Rotary Club raised $16,000 for Crimestoppers.
