Upcoming events for Macon Regional Crimestoppers.  June 19, 2013 Seventh Annual David Pierce Memorial Luncheon to benefit the Macon Regional Crimestoppers program will be held at the Museum of Aviation. Law enforcement, from all eight counties and media will attend this event along with other community business leaders. November 5, 2012 Eleventh Annual Macon Regional Crimestoppers Luncheon Law enforcement, from all eight counties, and media will attend this event along with other communty business leaders. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid o­n auction items such as a Day with the Macon PD and Bibb County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team, Lunch with the Mayor, Lunch with the Macon PD Chief or with Bibb County Sheriff. Now through November 5th, we are selling raffle tickets for a BIG GREEN EGG! Tickets are $10.00 each. All proceeds goes to Crimestoppers. The drawing will be held at the luncheon. You do not have to be present to win. Call 742-2330 if you are interested in buying a raffle ticket. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid o­n auction items such as a Day with the Macon PD SWAT Team, a Ride Along with a Macon PD Patrol Officer, A Day with the Macon PD Narcotics Vice Unit, or A day with the Macon PD recruiters seeing how you measure up doing the Physical Fitness and Drivers Test. August 7, 2010 The Stop the Violence Tour will wrap up the summer with a City-Wide Peace Ralley at Central City Park from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. There will be free food, fun and entertainment for people of all ages so please come out and enjoy the festivites. There will be a suprise celebrity appearnce live enterainment. Walthall Oil Company had a big truck raffle in which $5,000.00 was donated to Crimestoppers.The winner of this monster truck was John R. Walker with John R. Walker Construction Company here in Macon. The month of October 2009Pledge Against Gun ViolenceBibb County sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students will gather to take a pledge against gun violence.
